The Jet boat ride is about 2 hrs drive away from Dunedin hence the 5 hr return trip and cost NZ$210.00 per adult & NZ$138 per child – shared tour ( min 6 people to run or can be run as a Private Tailor made tour with no minimum numbers required) This price includes, pickup from central city accommodation , all Transport, driver/guide, Jet Boat Ride, some Key City Sights and 15% GST (Government Goods & Services Tax).
The day will start with a 2 hour’s drive from Dunedin (once you are picked up from Port) 4-5 hours return trip including the Jet Boat trip of approximately 45 -50 minutes where we will follow the river from Beaumont Bridge travel up white water shoots and rocky outcrops to Horseshoe Bend then on to the historic Swing Bridge and learn the story behind the Lonely Graves. Birdlife thrive on the river including native wood pigeons, shags, ducks, geese and many more. Blast back to Beaumont for a light Pub lunch or return to Lawrence, (historic gold-mining town) for lunch (own cost) before returning to Dunedin.
